The DNC Stands for Diversity, the RNC for Trumpism
Republicans candidates must toe the line and pledge their support for Trumpism. Just ask Tim Pawlenty & Mark Sanford. The Democratic National Committee, in contrast, stands for diversity. A recent NYT article by Sheryl Gay Stolberg and Nicholas Fandos states “House Democrats, looking to wrest control of the chamber from Republicans in November, are discarding the lessons of successful midterms past and pressing only a bare-bones national agenda, leaving it to candidates to tailor their own messages to their districts.” The article highlights candidates like Ilhan Omar in Minnesota, Conor Lamb in Pennsylvania, Colin Afred in Texas, Xochitl Torres Small in New Mexico and Jared Golden in Maine.
A vote for Leslie Cockburn is a vote for the 5th District, a vote for Denver Riggleman is a vote for Trumpism.
