Nelson County Democratic Commitee -- Reorganizations Meeting - January 12, 2026

OFFICIAL NOTICE

The Nelson County Democratic Committee will hold its Biennial Meeting & Reorganization Meeting will take place oon Jan. 12, 2026

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and close at 7 p.m.

The meeting will be held at The Nelson Center, 8445 Thomas Nelson Hwy., Lovingston, VA 22949.

The purpose of the meeting is to elect members of the full Committee and to elect officers of the Committee.

 Qualifications to stand for membership in the Committee include:

  •    Resides in Nelson County;

  • Is a registered voter within Nelson County;

  • Is a Democrat;

  • Believes in the principles of the Democratic Party;

    Does not intend to support the campaign of any candidate opposing any nominee of the Party in ensuing elections.
