Canvassing to Start Soon in Nelson County

Dear Nelson County Democrats and Supporters:

 The 2025 Election in Virginia may be the most important of our lifetime. A myriad of issues threaten our health care, our democracy, and our daily lives. Fortunately, we have an exceptional slate of candidates poised to protect Virginians from the worst of presidential overreach and guide us into the future. We need to do our very best in Nelson County to elect Abigail Spanberger for Governor, Ghazala Hashmi for Lieutenant Governor, and Jay Jones for Attorney General. 

 As analysis of last year’s election becomes available, we begin to wonder how many of our neighbors are “low-information voters,” potentially lacking knowledge about issues effecting their lives and these candidates. We may not know, but we can make a difference by joining the group of energetic canvassers who will be knocking on doors and having critical conversations about issues and candidates with our neighbors.
