The Nelson County Democratic Committee is a powerful resource for county citizens who want to get involved in the democratic process to make positive change at the local, state and national level.
Whether we are helping citizens register to vote, campaigning for our candidates, or developing solutions to important issues, we work in a spirit of collaborative cooperation.

Voter registration is handled by the state. You can register to vote online here if you have a valid Virginia drivers license. Voter registration applications are also available at the Nelson County Registrar's Office.
