Ever wish you had the power to rein in Trump? Here in Virginia, we’re stepping up to the challenge with a proposed constitutional amendment to temporarily redraw congressional districts. It’s a response to the president’s attempts to rig the November midterm elections. If Virginia voters approve this amendment on April 21, we’ll be giving democracy a fighting chance for the rest of his term.

Vote YES.

If, like President Obama, you don't think we can afford "two more years of unchecked power and zero accountability in Washington,” be sure to vote YES in Virginia's April 21 referendum that would temporarily remap congressional districts.

Gov. Spanberger Calls on Virginians to Take Action

“Virginians have the opportunity to take action in response to this extraordinary moment in history. That’s why, as a Virginia voter, I’m voting in favor of this amendment.”

What’s on the Ballot?

“Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?”

Why is this
amendment
needed now?

Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy, but right now they’re under threat. Donald Trump is directing MAGA-controlled states to actively manipulate congressional maps without voter approval.
